THIS WAS A HARD TOPIC FOR ME TO SHARE WITH YOU.

Hello dear ones!

Today is a very personal blog that I felt compelled to share with you and how a certain product is changing my life. In sharing, I hope I can possibly help another. 

For about 19 years, I have suffered from depression since experiencing a debilitating post partum after the birth of my first child. The depression was severe and even at one point, I feel embarrassed to share, that I contemplated suicude. During this time, I felt ashamed to be in such a dark place. I felt ashamed to not be able to help myself. I felt ashamed in the thought of taking pharmaceuticals. I tried therapy in which I would sit with the professional with nothing to say but shrouded with an overwhelming cloud of sadness. I stayed committed to exercise and a healthy diet. I attempted meditation and it's different practices in which I was just unable to stop my head or commit to a long term practice. 

Years later, I am now managing my mental state with the help of an anti-depressant and constantly monitoring things in my life.  I am happy to say that now the good days are better than the bad.  However, now that I am entering perimenopause I have begun experiencing horrible anxiety, a common side affect of this change.  Overwhelmed by these emotions, I have felt compelled more than ever to meditate, an intuitive calling. Meditation has always appealed to me but I just ended up wasting money on apps and classes that just did not work for me. 

Today I write this blog because I found something that finally works and I want to share it with everyone! For the first time in my life, I am meditating 1-2 times a day.

It is so cool! For someone who is goal oriented like me, it makes this process so rewarding.  It tracks your heart rate and your HVR, essentially monitoring your nervous system aka. stress.  I am always in awe of the Calm and Focus monitoring, how does it do it?!  Days that I have felt more stressed, my calm and focus has been known to be zero minutes during a 7 minute meditation! haha 

My Personal Feedback

Since first receiving, I haven't stopped using the Core. It has been 2 months now. It is incredibly rewarding, fun and the fact that I love a progress challenge speaks to my personality.  My husband is now also meditating for the first time in his life.  In regards to my mental state, it has been a blessing beyond. Moments when I feel bad, I now depend on Core to breathe in some calm, lower my heart rate and aide in shifting my mood. It has been an absolute blessing and I feel downright proud of myself. My calm and focus is slowly coming along but I know that meditation is a practice and with time it will improve. 

I love this company so much that I have begun a relationship with them and feel blessed to share this product with my friends, family and the world.  I feel blessed to have found something to ease my moods.  I am more patient and calm in my daily life, for this I am truly grateful to Core.
