THE WEEKLY KHAOS
YOUR PERSONAL STYLE ADVICE BY KATE PERIS

Saint Laurent to Khaos, is like Peanut Butter and Jelly! A perfect match and blend of femininity, strength, and ease of bold style. This outfit perfectly represents the trend for this season in which rockchic 70's is alive and well. Take your summer dresses that you were about to retire from your closet and throw it on with or without a belt. The key here are the heeled boots. If you haven't invested in tall boots, now is the time more than ever. Classic, comfortable and can literally be paired with most everything. ( My next post will be all about my boot picks.). What I love about this outfit for these falls days is that our days in LA are still quite hot while a chill in the night roles in so a light knitted cardigan, long or small, is gorgeous with this combination.
*My advice when trying this look, wear your dresses with colors that exude the colors of fall such as Jewel Tones, Mustard, Navy Blues, etc.
* Add with a nice layer of necklaces such as our Lariats and Chains. Link Here
Yep, that's right.....Braids are still alive and well! This is such a clean and cool daytime style. Styled wet is crisp and clean while styling with already dry hair exudes softness. However, whichever you choose, use a molding paste to gently keep those hairs back off your face then mist lightly with your hairspray of choice.

Ohhhh baby, this is just hot, hot, hot! This is a look that you can soften for the day or apply as above for the night. Use a bronze of choice for your eyelid and apply a burgundy liner to your bottom lash line then delicately soften with a burgundy shadow. Blending is key to create this softness while avoiding a throw back to the 80's with harshness. Do not skip out on taking the time to blend, softening the edges with your small blending brush. Lastly, line the upper waterline with a black pencil and the bottom with your burgundy pencil. Finish your look with a soft warm rose cheek and a very natural lip, even a chapstick would be beautiful.
A French tip but with color! I'm literally doing this today, I'm obsessed. Give it a try with me and let me know!
